It was touch and go for a while, but the tier 2 status of York has meant that we can safely open our Christmas market stalls. We're so happy to be able to bring some Christmas spirit to you all after the year we've all had.
We have two shed locations this year, both selling our German-style sausage menu with Scandi twist:
Thors Tipi, Principal Hotel (11:30 - 22:00, 7 days a week)
Parliament Street, Brown's end (10:30 - 17:30, 7 days a week)
Thors have a toasty 'indoor' Sperry tent area for same households and bubbles as well as an outdoor Tipi area for groups to sit around the open fires.
A lot of you have asked if the meatballs will be making an appearance this year. The answer is slightly complicated:
Our Swedish sausage maker has to stop their normal production lines to make our sausages - so we have to order loads. And we had to do this before lockdown 2 was announced as they take a couple of weeks to arrive.
Since we have a lot of sausage stock we're prioritising selling them first. But when they're gone, they're gone. It'll be meatball time! Long story short, if you want to eat the meatballs, you have to help us by eating your weight in sausages.

Reservations: We don't take reservations at our shop as it's takeaway only. There are plenty of shared seats for you to use behind the shop though. We look forward to feeding you.
